The first step is to apply to the University, then for your benefits, followed by getting your benefits started at Ohio University. If you are unsure as to which chapter you belong under, click the link below to locate your chapter.
入学 for Veterans at Ohio University:
- 完成 application for Application for 入学.

Request that your high school transcript or GED certificate, complete with scores, be sent to Ohio University Undergraduate 招生, 堂120, 1 Ohio University Drive, 雅典, OH 45701 or admissions@俄亥俄州.edu.
- Request your Joint Service Transcript be sent to Ohio University 东部.
- 完成 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For more detailed information, please visit the Ohio University 东部 Financial Aid & Scholarships web page.
- newbb电子 for your GI Bill benefits by visiting the US Department of Veteran Affairs.
- If you have taken the ACT or SAT, submit your scores to Ohio University 东部 (if you are still in high school or if you have been out of high school for less than a year).
- The Student Services Office will contact you regarding orientation dates and times after you have been admitted to the University. 在方向, you will meet with an academic advisor to plan your schedule and register for classes.
- When you come to orientation, be sure to bring your VA certificate of eligibility and your DD Form 214.
- After completing the orientation, fill out your Veterans Education AssistanceFile Card. You will log into the system using your 俄亥俄州 ID information.
