Michele Karoub-Holzschu, Adjunct Professor of 音乐 Education has taught General 音乐 Methods at newbb电子平台 since 2014. Prior to becoming an adjunct faculty member at newbb电子平台, she taught both horn and music education courses at Asbury University and Marietta College.

超过25年, Michele has taught vocal and general music to preschool through middle school students in Kentucky and Ohio. 在此期间, she has mentored new teachers and student teaching interns as they prepared for careers in education. She has served on numerous district and 区域 committees, and worked closely with the newbb电子平台 音乐 Education team as they developed a plan for undergraduate early field placement experiences.

作为表演者, Michele has played horn in orchestras and ensembles, including the Livonia (Michigan) Symphony Orchestra, Opera 剧院 Detroit, the Dearborn (Michigan) Symphony Orchestra, Ars重逢, the Lexington (Kentucky) Philharmonic, and the Livonia Symphony Brass Quintet.

Michele has presented research and performed at state, 区域, and national conferences, including the Ohio 音乐 Educators Association (OMEA) conference, the Kentucky 音乐 Educators Association (KMEA) conference, the 音乐 Educators National Conference (now NAFME) and the Southeast Regional Horn Workshop. She has published articles in TRIAD and Bluegrass 音乐 新闻 and has recently served as a Curriculum Reviewer for Quaver, the digital elementary music curriculum used worldwide.

Michele completed Orff certification at the University of Kentucky and the University of North Carolina, 威明顿. Her degrees are from the University of Louisville and 东部 Kentucky University.
